From a lifelong dream to published author

I've been writing since I was 12, always chasing the dream of becoming a published author. Life often got in the way—moving across the country twice, marriage, two kids—and finishing an entire book always felt out of reach. But this past year, I dedicated myself to finally achieving my dream because I knew that I was ready for it to be more than a "hopefully someday" goal.

I'm excited to continue chasing this dream beyond my debut.

I want to write as many books as I can conjure up in my head in my lifetime, and I plan on continuing to write romance books. Specifically no-spice romance, because I believe non-spicy stories can be just as swoony, and filled the same amount of tension, yearning, and love.

Some insight into my writing process

I used to write my books without any plan, just vibes. I think that was part of why I was never able to finish a whole book before. "More Than Sunday" was the first book that I ever thoroughly outlined, and it's the reason I will be doing the same with all future novels.

I write books for my younger self who always dreamed of being able to, but also for the hopeless romantics who just want to read a love story that isn't toxic, is soft and gentle, and ends in a happily ever after, always. I hope everyone walks away from reading my books with a warm feeling in their chest and maaaaaaybe--with just a bit higher standards.

Because between you and me? You deserve that.

A bit about my life outside of writing

I'm a mom of two, wife to the kind of guy who could inspire anyone to write romance books, introvert who wishes she was an extrovert, and an ADHD hobby-of-the-month enthusiast.

I love reading, writing (this one too obvious?), bike rides, cool summer days, dad jokes, dairy (even though it doesn't love me), making elaborate Canva collages, a good all-over-the-place playlist, a long drive through pretty sights, waterfalls, random acts of kindness, red velvet anything, my family and friends, and being around people who make me want to constantly be a the best and nicest person I can be.

Happy you're here. Both on my website - and just in general. :)
